Antares Electrical Distributors supplies electrical materials to contractors, developers, home builders, and supply houses across the Caribbean. Our mission is simple: we make it easy for our clients to get what they need, when they need it. Our clients are building on islands where a wrong part or a slow quote can stall a job, so we need salespeople who are fast, accurate, and know their material.
What You’ll Do
- Quote incoming requests for quotes (RFQs) and full project bills of materials (BOMs) quickly and accurately
- Read through BOMs and takeoffs to catch missing items, wrong specs, and better alternatives before the quote goes out
- Source pricing and lead times from manufacturers and vendors, and build competitive, profitable quotes
- Follow up on open quotes to win the order
- Convert customer orders into sales orders in NetSuite and make sure every line is right: part numbers, quantities, pricing, and shipping details
- Place purchase orders with vendors for the material needed to fulfill each sales order
- Track order status and keep clients updated on lead times, ship dates, and any changes
- Coordinate with the warehouse on receiving, staging, and export shipping deadlines
- Build relationships with contractors, developers, and supply houses throughout the Caribbean
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of inside sales, quoting, or counter sales experience in electrical distribution (or a related construction supply field)
- Solid product knowledge: wire and cable, conduit and fittings, distribution equipment, lighting, devices
- Able to read and work through a BOM or material list with accuracy
- Strong with numbers and margin; comfortable building quotes and pricing jobs
- Experience with an ERP system (NetSuite a plus)
- Clear, professional communication by phone and email
- Organized enough to manage many open quotes and orders at once without dropping any
- Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
- Export or Caribbean market experience a big plus

What We Offer
- $17 – $21/hour, plus up to $3000/month in incentives based on productivity and gross profit

Compensation: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
