Job Summary

Are you passionate about health and wellness? Do you have a great attention to detail? If so, you need to join the member service team at our upscale sauna studio! We are looking for positive, confident, results-oriented team members who love to provide an excellent experience to our guests.

This is a position for a Studio Assistant (this is what we call our Spa Attendant/Housekeeper/Janitor role) at Perspire Sauna Studio in NYC. This position will be assigned shifts to work from 2 potential locations:

Perspire Flatiron : 50 West 23rd St., New York, NY (Manhattan)
Perspire Williamsburg : 191 N 8th Street, Brooklyn, NY

You will be working 3-5 shifts per week of 6-8 hours in length, based on a monthly schedule which may include weekday evenings and weekends.

Here's what you’ll do as a Studio Assistant :

Promptly clean a sauna room when the guests exit, ensuring that it is sanitized and prepped for the next appointment
Conducting regular deep clean activities of the facilities and saunas per the prescribed protocols and schedules
Conduct towel and cleaning supply inventory upon delivery
Inspect and fold towels using our prescribed techniques
Respond to guest inquiries and administer studio tours to new guests
Attend a mandatory monthly team meeting
Support Studio Management and Sales Associates through miscellaneous tasks including minor repairs
Physical demands: standing, lifting and carrying laundry and towels, and using cleaning chemicals.

Here's what you need to bring:

A great attention to detail and cleanliness
A consistently positive, team player and no-job-is-too-small attitude
A verifiable history of excellent attendance
Open availability to work a minimum of 3 days per week
Prior experience in housekeeping, janitorial or customer service is a plus!

Compensation:

Starting pay of $18.00/hour, paid every 2 weeks
Pay raise to $18.50/hour after 90 days, subject to: no unexcused lateness or absences, consistent professionalism and compliance with company policies, 100% training completion, and successfully passing all quality assurance checks
