About the Role:
Veritas Environmental Services LLC is looking for a motivated and dependable Lead Housekeeper to join our team in Winston Salem, NC! This is a great opportunity to take on a leadership role in a professional cleaning and environmental services environment, working a consistent 1st shift schedule from 8am to 5pm. Must have proven cleaning experience, reliable transportation and CLEAN BACKGROUND
Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise housekeeping staff during the 1st shift to ensure quality and efficiency
- Perform and oversee daily cleaning, sanitizing, and disinfecting of assigned areas
- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets company and client cleanliness standards
- Train and mentor housekeeping team members on proper cleaning techniques and safety protocols
- Manage cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting shortages or maintenance needs as needed
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and clients regarding service expectations and issues
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and environmental health and safety guidelines
Requirements:
- Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience required; lead or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and proper sanitation procedures
- Ability to lead, motivate, and direct a team in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
- Must be available to work 1st shift, Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm

Compensation: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
