Manhattan Active Order Management
1. Program Background
Client is implementing Manhattan Active Warehouse Management (MAWM) and Manhattan Active
Order Management (MAO) as strategic platforms within its global NEXTGEN transformation program.
With approximately 35 NEXTGEN projects expected in 2027, Client is expanding its functional
architecture, configuration and development capacity through experienced external partners.
2. Engagement Model
Client is seeking experienced Functional Template Consultants specializing in Manhattan Active Order
Management (MAO)
The consultants will:
 Operate as an extension of client’s Global IT Center of Excellence, under client’s functional direction,
priorities and delivery governance.
 Perform hands-on configuration, maintenance and enhancement of client’s global Manhattan Active
OMS template.
 Follow established functional designs, architecture principles, configuration guardrails, testing
standards and deployment processes.
 Support implementation teams with configuration expertise, troubleshooting and knowledge
transfer.
 Contribute to improving the efficiency, quality and repeatability of template configuration and
deployment.
3. Role Description
The Functional Template Consultant OMS is responsible for the hands-on configuration, maintenance,
testing and continuous improvement of client’s global Manhattan Active OMS template.
The role requires strong practical knowledge of Manhattan Active Order Management configuration,
order lifecycle management and the tools used to manage, validate and deploy system configuration.
Working from approved functional designs and template requirements, the consultant translates
business functionality into standardized, reusable and maintainable Manhattan Active OMS
configuration.
