Personal Lines Insurance Producer (P&C Sales) – Port St. Lucie, FL
McGarr Insurance is a growing independent agency on the Treasure Coast, writing home, auto, flood, and umbrella insurance through about 40 carriers. We’re looking for an experienced, ethical personal lines producer who wants to keep growing their career.

This role is meant to help you reach your goals, professional and personal. You’ll build sales skills, deep carrier and market knowledge, and the business sense that opens doors in marketing, underwriting, management, or ownership. If you want to own an agency someday, we’ll help you get there. If you’d rather grow with us for the long haul, there’s room for that too.
The first 6 months are fully in-office for training and onboarding. After that, the role becomes a 50/50 hybrid, with a rotating mix of office and home days that we’ll set together.

What you’ll do
- Handle inbound new-business calls and leads; quote and bind personal lines policies (mainly home and auto)
- Hit monthly premium-written goals
- Cross-sell and round out accounts. Because we’re independent, you can shop the market for your clients instead of being stuck with one carrier.
- Build lasting relationships with clients and referral partners
- Set and track your own growth goals through our OKR system
What you need
- Active Florida 2-20 or 20-44 license.
- 1+ years of personal lines P&C sales experience preferred, but not required
- Comfort working in a rater and an agency management system (we use QuoteRUSH and Applied Epic, and we’ll train you on both)
- Integrity. We put the client’s interest first, every time.
