Personal Care Caregiver with Dementia Experience

We are looking for an experience caregiver with personal care experience for a memory care client. Client is transitioning from companion care to direct care and needs are increasing with her dementia we need a caregiver who can provide hands-on assistance while maintaining the client's independence. Caregiver also need to be able to build a meaningful relationship and provide compassionate support as the client's needs evolve.
Ideal Caregiver Qualifications:
- Experience caring for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's disease
- Skilled in providing personal care assistance
- Strong observation skills to recognize changes in condition, safety concerns, and cognitive decline.
- Ability to establish trust, maintain routines, and provide meaningful engagement throughout the day.
- Reliable, dependable, and committed to consistency in care
- Excellent communication skills with both the client and family members.
The ideal caregiver will focus on:
- Providing hands-on assistance while encouraging independence whenever possible.
- Creating a safe, structured, and familiar environment.
- Engaging the client in conversation, activities, and routines that promote cognitive stimulation and emotional well-being.
- Supporting the client with dignity, patience, and respect
Pay is $25 per hour for CNA and $23 for HCA.
Compensation: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
