Job Summary:
As a Caregiver with Assisting Hands, you will provide compassionate and reliable custodial and personal care services to clients in their homes, following the guidance of the Staffing Coordinator and in alignment with each client’s personalized Plan of Care. Your role will play a vital part in ensuring clients maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe environment while receiving the support they need to live independently.

We are looking for a compassionate, patient, and reliable Non-Medical Caregiver to assist clients with daily living activities and provide companionship in their homes.

Reports To:
  • Care Manager
Responsibilities:

  • Assist with personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming.
  • Prepare meals and provide light housekeeping.
  • Offer companionship and emotional support.
  • Assist with mobility and daily activities.
  • Provide medication reminders as instructed.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment.
  • Report concerns or changes in the client's well-being to the appropriate person.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • At least one (1) year of experience in a home care, long-term care, or similar setting is preferred.
  • Caring, trustworthy, and responsible.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Previous caregiving experience is an advantage.
  • Able to follow care instructions and respect client privacy.
Compensation: $18.50 per hour
