Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team! You will be examining children and young adults, addressing both minor and major issues, monitoring growth and progress, and ordering tests. You will also advise guardians on best health and wellness practices, prescribe medication, and refer patients to specialists as needed. The ideal candidate has an excellent bedside manner, especially with children, strong communication skills, and the ability to work well both in a team environment and independently.
Responsibilities
- Examine young patients to determine care needs
- Order tests, read results, and offer diagnoses
- Prescribe medicine, educate patients and their families on side effects and illness, and advise them on the best course of action to promote health and wellness
- Maintain excellent care records of all patients seen
- Work closely with nurses, administrative staff, and other doctors to provide the best all-around care
Qualifications
- Must hold a current state license to practice medicine
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with medical software desired
- Familiarity with best practices when it comes to testing and diagnostic standards
- The ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism in the workplace
Compensation: $220,000.00 - $235,000.00 per year
