Position Overview

Our bartenders are responsible for creating memorable guest experiences through attentive service, consistent beverage execution, and strong food and beverage knowledge. The ideal candidate is confident behind the bar, thrives in a fast-paced environment, values cleanliness and organization, and takes pride in building relationships with guests.

1. Hospitality & Guest Experience

Deliver genuine, attentive hospitality that reflects our neighborly atmosphere. Build lasting guest relationships, remember preferences, and anticipate needs.

2. Beverage Quality & Consistency

Execute every beverage accurately and consistently, following established recipes and presentation standards. Maintain strong product knowledge and confidently recall cocktail specifications.

3. Service Execution & Salesmanship

Balance bar guests and service tickets with efficiency and urgency. Know the menu, make thoughtful recommendations, and enhance the overall dining experience.

4. Cleanliness & Teamwork

Maintain clean, stocked, and organized workstations. Communicate effectively, support coworkers, and take ownership of shared responsibilities.

5. Professionalism & Accountability

Demonstrate reliability, sound judgment, and responsible alcohol service. Address concerns promptly, uphold restaurant standards, and complete assigned duties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, beer, and nonalcoholic beverages according to established standards.
  • Provide warm, attentive service to bar guests while managing service-bar tickets efficiently.
  • Maintain knowledge of cocktail recipes, spirits, wines, menu offerings, specials, and pairings.
  • Make thoughtful recommendations and confidently introduce guests to new beverages and menu items.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, sanitized, and properly stocked bar.
  • Complete assigned opening, closing, and weekly maintenance responsibilities.
  • Assist with beverage inventory, product rotation, and communicating shortages.
  • Work collaboratively with servers, support staff, kitchen personnel, and management.
  • Follow responsible alcohol service procedures and all applicable restaurant policies.
Qualifications
  • Previous bartending experience in a full-service restaurant preferred.
  • Strong cocktail, spirits, and wine knowledge.
  • Ability to manage both seated bar guests and a high-volume service well.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
  • A positive, professional attitude and genuine interest in hospitality.
  • Dependability, flexibility, and willingness to support the team.
  • Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
