About the Role:
MEDEX STAFFING NETWORK LLC is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Risk Management to join our growing team in Las Vegas, NV. Must have ACUTE CARE experience inside a hospital most recent 2 years. This is a high-impact leadership role where you'll drive enterprise-wide risk strategy and help shape the future of a fast-moving staffing organization. Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive enterprise risk management (ERM) frameworks and policies
- Identify, assess, and mitigate operational, financial, legal, and compliance risks across the organization
- Lead risk assessments and audits to ensure regulatory compliance within the healthcare staffing industry
- Collaborate with executive leadership to align risk management strategies with business objectives
- Manage insurance programs, claims, and relationships with brokers and carriers
- Monitor emerging risks and industry trends to proactively update risk mitigation strategies
- Train and educate staff on risk awareness, safety protocols, and compliance standards
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (Master's preferred)
- 2-5 years of progressive experience in risk management, preferably in healthcare or staffing industries
- Professional certification such as ARM, CRM, or CPHRM strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, liability management, and insurance principles
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage cross-functional teams
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
