Magone Advisors is looking for an Accounting Supervisor to join our growing Client Accounting Services (CAS) team in our Parsippany, NJ office!

What You'll Do
In this role, you'll oversee day-to-day client accounting operations, serve as a trusted point of contact for clients, and help lead our CAS team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Manage a portfolio of clients and oversee their ongoing accounting needs.
- Supervise and support both on-site and remote accounting staff.
- Oversee monthly and year-end close processes, reconciliations, adjusting entries, and financial statement preparation.
- Review accounting records, workpapers, fixed assets, inventory valuations, and other financial reporting deliverables.
- Oversee payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and 1099 processing as needed.
- Collaborate with our Tax and Audit teams to support tax projections, business filings, and client needs.
- Manage client engagement deliverables, billing, and related communications.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, leverage technology, and provide exceptional client service.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting (preferred)
- CPA license or actively pursuing licensure.
- 3–5 years of experience in client accounting services, controllership, or a similar accounting role.
- At least 2 years of public accounting experience.
- Experience supervising and mentoring accounting professionals.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Microsoft Excel, and accounting software.
- Experience with ADP Payroll; Bill.com experience is a plus.
- Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- A proactive, detail-oriented professional who embraces technology and enjoys learning.
Experience in tax or audit is an added plus!
