What You'll Do

As a member of our caregiving team, you'll help clients with everyday activities while promoting dignity, safety, and independence.

Your responsibilities may include:

Providing assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal care
Preparing meals and maintaining a clean, comfortable environment
Offering companionship and emotional support
Helping clients walk safely and complete daily routines
Encouraging engagement in appropriate activities
Providing reminders and assistance as outlined in the care plan
Following client-specific instructions and safety procedures
Communicating client updates, concerns, and changes to the office
Maintaining accurate records of services provided

What You Need to Bring

We're looking for individuals who are caring, trustworthy, patient, accountable, and comfortable providing one-on-one care in a client's home.

Experience: 1-2 years or more of caregiving experience is preferred. Backgrounds in home care, private-duty care, CNA, HHA, or similar caregiving roles are welcome. Experience is not required for every applicant.

Required qualifications:

Reliable transportation
Valid driver's license
Current auto insurance
Willingness to travel between client homes within our service area
Ability to assist with lifting up to 35 pounds when required by the client's care plan

CPR/First Aid certification is a plus, but NOT required at time of interview.

We provide in-home care throughout Park Ridge and the surrounding Northwest Suburbs, including:

Park Ridge • Des Plaines • Elk Grove Village • Schaumburg • Rolling Meadows • Hoffman Estates • Palatine • Surrounding Areas

Please note: Park Ridge is one of the communities we serve. The location shown on this job posting does not necessarily indicate our office address or the only community where you may work. Caregivers must be open to assignments in other areas within our service territory, depending on client needs.

Consider your commute before applying: Applicants who live one hour or more from our service area may find the travel distance challenging. Because this role requires traveling to clients' homes, we encourage applicants who live farther away to carefully consider whether the commute is practical before submitting an application.
