About the Role:
Triunity Software is looking for a talented Senior Java Developer to join our growing team in Calgary, AB. Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable Java-based applications and microservices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers to uphold engineering best practices
- Optimize application performance, reliability, and security across the full software lifecycle
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives
- Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services into existing platforms
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues in production environments
Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional experience in Java development
- Strong proficiency with Java frameworks such as Spring Boot, Spring MVC, or Hibernate
- Experience with microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Solid understanding of relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and containerization tools like Docker or Kubernetes
- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git
- Strong problem-solving skills with excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
