About the Role:
MEDEX STAFFING NETWORK LLC is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in Los Angeles, California. Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in accordance with clinical guidelines
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures while monitoring patient responses
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and progress accurately in electronic health records (EHR)
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and post-care instructions
- Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition, escalating care as needed
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, infection control protocols, and facility policies
Requirements:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California (or compact license eligibility)
- 1 year of RN experience
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (ADN or BSN) from an accredited program
- Current BLS/CPR certification; ACLS preferred depending on specialty
- Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience preferred
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and patient advocacy skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, or holidays as needed
