The Opportunity
We’re building a dedicated care team for a medically complex infant in the Melbourne area who is transitioning home from the hospital and will require ventilator, tracheostomy, and G-tube care. We’ll provide 24/7 private duty nursing coverage starting mid-November 2026. This is a chance to make a real difference for a family during an important transition and to provide consistent, one-on-one care.

Shifts Available
- Days: 7a–7p
- Nights: 7p–7a
- Full-time, part-time, and weekend options
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one skilled nursing care in the home according to the plan of care
- Manage home ventilator care, including monitoring settings, circuit checks, alarm response, and troubleshooting
- Perform tracheostomy care, including suctioning, trach site care, and emergency trach changes
- Manage G-tube feedings, medications, and site care
- Monitor cardiac and respiratory status, recognize changes, and respond appropriately
- Administer medications and document care accurately in our EMR
- Communicate with the family, the Director of Nursing, and the care team
- Support and educate the family as they learn to care for their child at home
Requirements
- Active Florida RN or LPN license (or multistate Nurse Licensure Compact license)
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Pediatric ventilator and trach experience strongly preferred (PICU, NICU, home health, or PDN)
- G-tube experience preferred
- Reliable transportation
- Compassionate, dependable, and calm under pressure
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
