Director of Nursing and Clinical Operations

• Supervise field caregivers, CNAs, and home health aides across Broward and Palm Beach counties.
• Conduct and oversee client assessments, care plans, supervisory visits, and ongoing clinical evaluations.
• Ensure accurate, timely WellSky documentation and compliance with AHCA and CHAP standards.
• Lead quality assurance, incident investigations, infection control, grievance resolution, and QAPI initiatives.
• Maintain continuous survey readiness and serve as the primary clinical contact for clients, families, and payers.

• Serve as Deputy Administrator and designated backup Administrator of Record, subject to AHCA requirements.
• Participate in the on-call rotation and maintain appropriate 24/7 coverage protocols.
• Oversee caregiver onboarding, competency evaluations, orientation, and training.
• Monitor staffing, scheduling, service continuity, overtime, and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with executive leadership on clinical performance, staffing costs, and quality improvement.

• Build relationships with hospital discharge planners, physicians, social workers, ALFs, SNFs, LTC insurance case managers, and other referral partners.
• Represent Atlantic AllCare at healthcare networking events and community meetings.
• Participate in referral partner visits and prospective client consultations.
• Improve inquiry-to-admission conversion through responsive assessments and follow-up.
• Strengthen existing referral relationships and identify new growth opportunities.

• Design and launch new clinical and care management services.
• Develop program protocols, policies, training, and performance measures.
• Evaluate opportunities involving hospice supplemental staffing, veterans services, Medicaid waiver programs, and other service expansions.
• Ensure new programs meet applicable licensing, accreditation, and payer requirements.
  
  

• Active, unrestricted Florida RN license.
• Minimum five years of nursing experience, including three years in home care, home health, or community-based services.
• Demonstrated supervisory or clinical management experience.
• Knowledge of Florida AHCA home health agency regulations.
• Knowledge of PECOS and Medicare is strongly preferred. 
• Proficiency with electronic medical records.
• Residence in Broward or Palm Beach County.
• Valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation.
  
  

• Previous Director of Nursing, clinical director, or Administrator designee experience.
• CHAP or Joint Commission accreditation experience.
• Established South Florida healthcare referral relationships.
• Experience developing and implementing clinical programs.
• WellSky experience and familiarity with LTC insurance requirements.
• Medicare home health certification, billing, or PECOS knowledge.
• Bilingual English/Spanish.
