Our agency has served the Wayne community since 1978. Steve is a second-generation State Farm agent who has expanded the agency to include a second location in Newtown Square. With a knowledgeable team, deep local roots, and recognition including State Farm President’s Club and Ambassador Travel, our agency combines an established reputation with opportunities to grow.
About the Opportunity
In this role, you’ll help new and existing customers understand their insurance needs, explore coverage options, and prepare for the unexpected. Our agency offers auto, homeowners, renters, life insurance, and more, with a focus on personalized service and lasting customer relationships.
Previous State Farm experience is a big plus and will be a significant factor in determining base salary potential. Candidates who bring relevant State Farm product knowledge, systems familiarity, and agency experience may qualify for a higher starting base salary.
What You’ll Do
- Connect with prospective customers to identify their needs and recommend appropriate insurance solutions.
- Conduct needs-based conversations and explain coverage options clearly and confidently.
- Develop new business through referrals, networking, community involvement, and proactive outreach.
- Build lasting customer relationships through responsive service and consistent follow-up.
- Identify opportunities to help existing customers address additional coverage needs.
- Collaborate with teammates to achieve individual and agency sales goals.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous State Farm agency experience strongly preferred.
- Prior insurance sales, other sales, or customer service experience preferred.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- A customer-first approach and a genuine interest in helping others.
- A self-motivated, goal-oriented mindset.
- A willingness to learn, accept coaching, and contribute to a collaborative team.
Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary plus commission/bonus opportunities.
- Base salary determined by relevant experience and qualifications, with previous State Farm experience carrying significant weight in starting salary potential.
