We are seeking a highly talented and motivated Director to lead our Fitness Personal Training Department. This individual will be responsible for the profitability, operations, and strategic direction of Gold's Gym personal training business, small group training, and group fitness programs.
To succeed in this role, candidates must possess the following attributes:
- MUST HAVE FITNESS EXPERIENCE - GENERAL MANAGER ROLE OR HIGHER IN THE FITNESS DEPARTMENT FOR AT LEAST 3 YEARS
- Minimum of 3-5 years' experience managing or consulting in a related multi-unit, full-service business, preferably in the fitness industry.
- Proven track record of success in leading and driving sales within a full-service business.
- Experience in consulting or strategy development within a related industry.
- Proficient in managing a P&L in a related industry.
- Ability to develop and implement innovative and strategic initiatives within a growth-oriented company.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing a diverse and senior team.
- Passionate and knowledgeable about the fitness industry.
- Comprehensive understanding of the Personal Training industry.
- Bachelor's Degree required; MBA or relevant industry experience preferred.

The Director of Fitness Personal Training Department will have the following responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and revenue growth within the personal training, small group training, and group fitness programs.
- Oversee the profitability and financial performance of the Fitness Personal Training Department, including managing the P&L.
- Lead a team of senior managers and trainers to achieve sales targets and operational excellence.
- Drive innovation and implement best practices to enhance the member experience and maximize revenue opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and finance, to develop and execute integrated sales and marketing campaigns.
- Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and employee development within the Fitness Personal Training Department.
