Position Overview

As a member of our agency team, you have an opportunity to experience first-hand what it takes to be a State Farm Agent. You will build and develop customer relationships within the community to promote State Farm products including auto, home and life insurance. This position will allow you to experience working in an agent's office and to explore the opportunity to become a State Farm agent yourself.
Responsibilities
- Develop new leads, quote prospects, and schedule appointments
- Identify coverage gaps, and market appropriate products & services to customers.
- Make insurance proposals to potential clients. (In-person & on the phone)
- Establish relationships, and follow up with potential clients
- Work with the agent to establish and meet call/sales goals
- This position requires a high amount of outbound calling; including cold calls to potential clients
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening
- Extremely self-motivated & able to work in a team environment
- Maintain a positive & strong work ethic with a total commitment to success every day
- Must be very well organized, and able to multitask in high pressure situations
- Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft office programs (word, excel)

Compensation: 35,000-70,000
