As the Site Superintendent, you'll be at the epicenter of maintaining impeccable Jobsite conditions, overseeing and demanding excellence from subcontractors, and fostering seamless communication with the Project Manager on all things Jobsite-related. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure the Jobsite is always kept clean and in an organized manner.
- Perform job progress and punch list identification and completion.
- Oversee subcontractors and review their performance during and after their job has been completed.
- Communicate with the Project Manager on a regular basis about job sites, schedules, production, and subcontractor issues.
- Identify subcontractor non-compliance with safety, health, and quality standards.
- Visit, assess, and enforce quality control on each Jobsite daily.
- Walk projects daily to monitor activities and assist in future planning.
- Read, understand and implement architect engineering plans and revisions. (When applicable)
- Communicate with project team regarding RFI’s and material submittals.
- Maintain a safe job site and notify the project manager when the site is ready for inspections.
- Perform Superintendent duties at multiple job sites simultaneously. (When applicable)
- Coordination of scheduling and work activities of subcontractors and contract laborers while monitoring contract compliance and company policies.
- Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
- Oversee all labor and subcontractors; check work as it’s being performed to ensure it is accurate and complies with PD standards.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Solution-centered, conflict, resolution, and interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
- Communicate using the following tools: Telephone, written Notes (RMS), Email, Computer, and camera.
- Workable knowledge of Microsoft office, BuilderTrend a plus.
- Endurance to visit multiple job sites and potentially use stairs or elevated structures.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Customer service – Manage difficult or emotional customer situations.
- Client-focused, dedicated to excellence, and positive attitude.
- Knowledge of engineered drawings and specifications. (When Applicable)
- Provide directions to and resolve issues for multiple subcontractors.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to pass a criminal background verification and must be insurable to drive company vehicles.
