FYZICAL Dizziness & Fall Prevention Center in North Andover is currently seeking a Full Time Temporary Outpatient Physical Therapist October 2024-February 2025 to join our Team in North Andover. New Graduates encouraged to apply. Our facility is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment including computerized dynamic posturography technology and safety overhead support harnesses throughout the gym. Extensive mentorship, training and continuing education are provided. Monday through Friday hours, most holidays off. Four day work-week negotiable, 32-40 hours. 


About the Position:

Treatment population may include providing care for patients with Vestibular, Balance and Neurological conditions including Parkinson's Disease. 

Job Title: Staff Physical Therapist
Reports To: Clinical Manager

Summary:

Provide One-on-One patient care including comprehensive evaluation and treatment utilizing various standardized assessments. Plan and administer medically prescribed outpatient physical therapy treatment for patients with a variety of vestibular and neurologic conditions.

Education and/or Experience: Graduated from an Accredited Physical Therapy program and in possession of a clear and active State Licensure.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Provides patient care in accordance with established protocols and patient care guidelines.Responsible for the provision of comprehensive patient care.
Responsible for the delegation and supervision of appropriate patient care activities to the physical therapist assistant that are in accordance with the state practice act.
Consults with referring physicians as needed through verbal and written correspondence. 
Responsible for pursuing continuing education in the form of formal classes, reading of periodicals and other literature.
Responsible for adhering to all company policy and procedures.
Handles front desk functions as appropriate.
Plans and prepares written treatment program based on evaluation of patient data.
Evaluates effects of treatment at various stages and adjusts treatment to achieve maximum benefit.
Instructs patient and family in treatment procedures to be continued at home.

While performing the duties of this Job the employee is occasionally required to stand; sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50
pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
