Front Desk Customer Service Representative (Full Time, 30-40 Hours Per Week)

We are looking for enthusiastic customer service oriented people, with a passion for fitness, to add to our front desk team.  We pride ourselves on the legendary service we provide to our members and guests, and our front desk associates play an integral role in creating the first impression of who we are to anyone walking through our doors.

All applicants MUST be available for a flexible schedule of 30-40 hours per week (Opening shifts, mid-day shifts, and closing shifts) Monday through Friday as well as weekends when needed.


Job Duties:

  • Greet members with a smile and positive attitude
  • Adhere to all First Fitness Management policies and procedures including, but not limited to timeliness, codes of conduct, uniforms and timekeeping
  • Efficiently check in and handle routine member service tasks using the club systems such as (but not limited to) updating credit cards and member billing information
  • Navigate basic questions about membership, services and billing inquiries.
  • Provide a clean and organized front desk
  • Become proficient in the use of our Datatrak membership database and any other computer program required to meet the business needs of the customer
  • Provide high levels of customer service and attentiveness to member needs
  • Be responsive to member feedback and complaints and escalating issues to club management team as necessary
  • Perform point of sale transactions
  • Effectively communicating new promotions and services at point of contact, so that the member gets the most out of their gym membership
Skills, Experience & Education:

  • 1-2 years prior customer service experience in a member-facing role.
  • Team player who approaches challenges in a creative and positive manner.
  • Excellent communicator- good listening and oral skills
  • Ability to execute multiple tasks at once
  • Experience working with computer systems and navigating through work screens.
  • Physical demands include ability to walk through all areas of clubs, climbing stairs (where applicable), standing behind the front desk, and bending and lifting (e.g., picking up towels, restacking of weights, moving of equipment as necessary).
  • AED/CPR Certified (preferred).
