Physical Therapy Aide Volunteer

Job Title: Volunteer PT aide for afternoons (Mondays, Wednesdays or Fridays)
Reports To: Clinical Manager

FYZICAL Dizziness & Fall Prevention Center is an outpatient physical therapy clinic located in North Andover, MA. Our clinic specializes in the management of patients with dizziness, imbalance and other musculoskeletal conditions. This is a great opportunity for a student pursuing the field of Physical Therapy to increase their experience and knowledge while working under the mentorship of highly specialized clinicians. 

Summary:

Assists in delivery of physical therapy care as directed by Physical Therapists and Physical Therapist Assistant. 

This is an unpaid volunteer position.

Education and/or Experience: Interest in and pursuing education re: physical therapy or Kinesiology. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Cleaning of equipment
• Assisting in treatments as directed by therapists
• Data entry/collection
• Administration of computerized dynamic posturography testing and fall risk assessments under the supervision of Physical Therapists
