Are you a Certified Companion Animal Therapist (CCAT), Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner (CCRP), Certified Rehabilitation Veterinary Nurse (CCRVN), Certified in Veterinary Massage and Rehabilitation Therapy (CVMRT), or a VTS (Physical Rehab)? About the Role – Veterinary Rehabilitation Technician
This specialized role requires certification in canine rehabilitation and therapy. You’ll help pets regain mobility, manage pain, and improve overall well-being through tailored treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer advanced rehabilitation techniques, including underwater treadmill therapy and laser therapy
- Guide therapeutic exercises to improve balance, endurance, and muscle function
- Operate specialized equipment (physioballs, cavaletti rails, rocker boards, wobble boards, etc.)
- Provide manual therapy techniques such as massage, ROM exercises, and stretching
- Apply physical modalities to support recovery and healing
- Maintain accurate, detailed patient records
- Educate pet owners on home therapy and post-rehabilitation care
What We’re Looking For
- Certification in Veterinary Rehabilitation (CCAT, CCRP, CCRVN, CVMRT, or VTS - Physical Rehab)
- Minimum of 1 year of rehabilitation experience preferred
- Team player with the ability to collaborate closely with veterinarians and support staff
- Passion for patient care, client education, and progressive medicine
- Strong communication and organizational skills
