Job Summary:
As a Caregiver, you will provide essential personal care and companionship to clients based on individualized care plans. Your support will help them live safely and comfortably in their own homes.
Duties include:
Personal Care:
- Bathing, grooming, dressing, oral hygiene
- Mobility assistance: transfers, ambulation, range of motion exercises
- Meal preparation and feeding support
- Incontinence care and toileting assistance
Companion & Homemaking Support:
- Providing emotional support and companionship
- Light housekeeping (vacuuming, dishes, laundry, etc.)
- Medication reminders
- Respite care for family caregivers
Qualifications/Educational Requirements:
- High school graduate or G.E.D certificate
- Successful completion of a state-approved Certified Nurse Aide or Home Health Aide course
- At least six months experience as a Caregiver preferred (in homes or facilities).
- Be listed in good standing on the State’s Caregiver Registry
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job
- Possess a valid driver's license and have use of an insured automobile or access to adequate transportation for the job
