Key Responsibilities:
- Property Assessment: Conduct thorough inspections of damaged properties to assess the extent of the damage and determine the scope of restoration work required.
- Estimate Preparation: Utilize your expertise to accurately estimate the cost of materials, labor, and equipment needed for restoration projects. Consider factors such as building codes, permits, and specialized services.
- Cost Analysis: Analyze and interpret data gathered during property inspections to determine the most cost-effective solutions for restoration while ensuring quality workmanship and compliance with industry standards.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with property owners, insurance adjusters, contractors, and other stakeholders to discuss restoration options, explain estimates, and address any questions or concerns.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of property inspections, estimates, and project specifications. Ensure all documentation is accurate, organized, and accessible for reference throughout the restoration process.
- Project Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors to develop comprehensive restoration plans and timelines. Coordinate scheduling and resource allocation to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to property restoration. Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
- Proven experience in property restoration, construction estimating, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of building materials, construction techniques, and restoration processes.
- Proficiency in estimating software and tools (e.g., Xactimate, Simbility).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various job sites as needed.
