My love for authentic street food takes me back to the age of ten. Every morning was spent throwing dough in a wood oven and selling it to a hungry village. I discovered my craft, and it gave me purpose. 

On my way back to LA, I found myself missing the authentic flavors. The street food just wasn't the same out here. I built a wood oven and would spend hours a day cooking something money couldn't buy. I found my passion. At gatherings I would hear "the flavors bring back memories of my childhood in Mexico". I wanted to share this experience with the world, but I wasn't ready yet.

I spent nearly every day for several years perfecting my recipes. My goal was to serve authentic Mexican street food with an unforgettable taste. In 2019, I opened Papi Tacos & Churros in the heart of Los Angeles. Word-of-mouth brought us instant fame as people from different parts of the world lined up to order.  Bringing people together and feeding them happiness accomplished my dream.
