Primary focus is being the primary Point-of-Contact for customers and scheduling all requests for their logistics service needs. Will schedule service needs based on and daily and weekly basis, ensuring all information concerning the service request is available in dispatching software. Secondary role will be assisting in the dispatching of service requests as needed.

Job Responsibilities/Duties

  • Process Customer Service Requests via email and telephone direct from Customer or from the Commercial Team.
  • Set next day schedule in dispatching software
  • Address issues with Customers, Buyers, Core Carrier, and 3rd Party Carriers.
  • Negotiate rates and book loads with 3rd Party Carriers, as needed to meet Customer Service Requests with direct report approval.
  • Any other duties requested by Commercial or Management
