Key Responsibilities:
- Coordination of Shipments: Manage and coordinate the importation of goods, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
- Documentation: Prepare and review import documentation, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs declarations.
- Customs Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant customs regulations and procedures.
- Vendor Management: Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to facilitate smooth import operations.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory if required
- Cost Management: Negotiate rates with carriers and service providers to optimize costs.
- Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any issues or delays in the import process.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records and generate reports on import activities and performance metrics.
