About the Role:
Newtown Fireplace Shop is looking for an organized and customer-focused Service Coordinator to join our team in Newtown, PA! In this role, you'll be the vital link between our customers and our service technicians, ensuring every appointment runs smoothly and every client feels taken care of. Responsibilities:
- Schedule and coordinate service appointments between customers and field technicians
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, follow-ups, and service updates
- Manage work orders from intake through completion, ensuring accurate documentation
- Dispatch technicians efficiently to maximize daily scheduling and minimize travel time
- Maintain and update customer records, service histories, and warranty information
- Coordinate parts ordering and inventory needs in support of upcoming service calls
- Communicate proactively with customers regarding appointment reminders, delays, or changes
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in a service coordination, dispatch, or administrative support role
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with scheduling software, CRMs, or similar service management tools
- Customer-first mindset with a professional and friendly demeanor
- Experience in home services, HVAC, or hearth/fireplace industry is a plus
- Ability to problem-solve quickly and remain calm under pressure

Compensation: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
