Job Summary:
We are seeking a results-driven and strategic Sales Manager & Coordinator to lead, grow, and manage our company’s sales presence within major box stores. This role is ideal for a highly organized individual who excels at communication, thrives in structured environments, and is skilled at data-driven decision-making.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the implementation of sales strategies, coordination with internal and external stakeholders, and maintaining accountability for performance metrics and growth within the box store channel.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sales Strategy Execution: Implement and optimize sales strategies specifically tailored to box store accounts to maximize revenue and brand visibility.
• Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with box store partners, acting as the primary point of contact for all sales-related activities.
• Sales Growth & Accountability: Identify opportunities to increase product placement, sales volume, and brand exposure within box stores. Set and track sales goals, ensuring accountability across all initiatives.
• Cross-functional Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams including marketing, logistics, and product management to ensure alignment on inventory, promotions, and customer needs.
• Reporting & Data Analysis: Generate regular sales reports and dashboards. Analyze sales performance, trends, and KPIs to inform decisions and report findings to senior management.
• Process Improvement: Identify areas of improvement in the sales process and recommend changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
• Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the retail or box store channel.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; able to lead meetings and presentations with clarity and confidence.
• Strong organizational skills and a structured approach to problem-solving.
• Proficiency in sales reporting tools and platforms (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Salesforce, etc.).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and make data-informed decisions.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• Experience working directly with large retailers (e.g., Walmart, Costco, Home Depot, etc.).
• Familiarity with retail merchandising and promotional planning.
