Job Summary:

The role supports the Property Manager and/or Senior Property Manager in overseeing daily operations of designated properties. This includes maintaining high living standards, enforcing compliance, coordinating with internal teams, and fostering a safe environment that promotes residents stability and independence. The position also involves supervising site staff and contributing to the overall mission of sustainable supportive housing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Property Manager and/or Senior Property Manager in managing properties, including rent collection, applicant processing, legal matters, and budget maintenance
  • Coordinate and assemble information for rent increase requests, including market comparables.
  • Assist in the maintenance of property management files to include property reports, invoices, current and former resident files.
  • Assist in the inspection of occupied and vacant units to insure cleanliness, safety and high quality maintenance.
  • Assist in the preparation for all desk and physical audits by government entities, regulators, funders and partners.
  • Coordinate with other divisions on public inquiries, tours, volunteer activities, development planning, and residential program implementation.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Property Manager and/ or Senior Property Manager.

Qualifications:

Must-Haves:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years residential property management experience.
  • Valid Virginia drivers license and access to a personal vehicle.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to learn or experience with OneSite and WCMS.
  • Ability to pass background checks and insurance screening.
Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience with HUD Housing Programs and LIHTC.
  • Knowledge of state and federal housing regulations.
  • Registered Apartment Managers Certification.
  • CPR and First Aid Certification.

Compensation: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
