Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Account Manager with 1–2 years of brokerage or logistics experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with McLeod TMS software and thrives in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment. You’ll be responsible for maintaining and growing client relationships, managing freight operations, and ensuring seamless execution of daily logistics tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day client communication and operations for assigned accounts
- Build and maintain strong relationships with shippers, carriers, and internal teams
- Enter, update, and manage load information in McLeod software
- Monitor shipments from pickup through delivery, proactively addressing any service issues
- Work closely with carrier sales and dispatch to ensure on-time performance
- Handle rate negotiations, spot quotes, and resolve billing discrepancies
- Track KPIs and service metrics for customer accounts and provide reporting as needed
- Support business growth through excellent service and upselling opportunities
Qualifications:
- 1–2 years of experience in freight brokerage, logistics, or transportation
- Proficiency with McLeod TMS software required
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Customer-first mindset with a sense of urgency
- Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree a plus)
