Job Summary
The Kitchen Manager/Chef will oversee all back-of-house operations, menu creation. kitchen team management and cost control. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with refined culinary skills, a passion for fresh, seasonal ingredients, and the ability to inspire a cohesive kitchen team.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute seasonal menus that reflect Tailleur’s elevated French-inspired style.
- Lead, train, and mentor kitchen staff to ensure consistent food quality and efficient service.
- Manage daily kitchen operations, including prep, service, and closing procedures.
- Maintain proper inventory levels, ordering, and supplier relationships.
- Monitor food and labor costs, ensuring targets are met without compromising quality.
- Oversee compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Collaborate with management on special events, menu rollouts, and promotions.
- Maintain a positive and productive work environment while setting a professional tone for the team.
Qualifications
- Min 3–5 years of experience as a Sous Chef, Kitchen Manager, or Executive Chef in a high-volume kitchen.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Advanced culinary knowledge, with a passion for seasonal and locally sourced ingredients.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining high standards.
- ServSafe or Food Handler’s Certification required (or ability to obtain).
