Jashan — Elevated Indian Dining

At Jashan, every meal is a celebration. Guided by India’s rich heritage, refined culinary artistry, and heartfelt hospitality, we strive to create unforgettable dining experiences for every guest — where every detail, flavor, and moment tells a story. Our team is led by passionate, highly skilled chefs recognized for elevating Indian fine dining, and we are looking for dedicated servers who want to be part of something truly special.

We are building a hospitality team rooted in authenticity, emotional storytelling, and highly intentional service. Our dining room is calm, refined, and deeply guest‑focused — and our captains are the leaders who help shape that experience.

This role is not for someone seeking “just another server job.”
It is for someone who brings poise, discipline, and true pride in hospitality.

Role Overview

Captains at Jashan are senior service professionals who own the guest journey for their section while supporting the energy, flow, and professionalism of the entire dining room. You will set the tone, guide the pace, and serve as a model for excellence on the floor.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead service for your section from welcome to farewell
  • Guide guests through menu, pacing, and experience with clarity and confidence
  • Maintain control of timing, table needs, and room awareness
  • Collaborate with kitchen, management, and service team to ensure smooth execution
  • Support guest recovery with professionalism and discretion
  • Mentor junior team members and uphold service standards
  • Participate in training, pre‑service preparation, and ongoing development
  • Help maintain a polished, warm, and controlled environment
What We’re Looking For

  • Fine dining or upscale service experience strongly preferred
  • Experience in chef‑driven restaurants or tasting menu service is a plus
  • Strong communication skills and emotional intelligence
  • Comfort discussing wine pairings and beverage options
Traits That Matter to Us

Presence • Poise • Curiosity • Ownership • Consistency • Maturity • Grace Under Pressure

What Success Looks Like

You create calm, confidence, and trust in the room. Guests feel guided, never rushed. The team feels supported. Problems are solved quietly. The experience feels intentional from start to finish.

If you want to be part of building a highly intentional dining experience — and take pride in hospitality done well — we would love to hear from you.

Why Jashan?

Jashan isn’t just a restaurant — it’s a cultural experience where history, cuisine, and hospitality come together. With an ambiance rooted in celebration and dishes crafted with passion and precision by acclaimed chefs, you’ll be part of a team that takes pride in every moment.

Here, you’re not just serving food…
  You’re creating memories.
  You’re sharing culture.
You’re helping guests celebrate life’s meaningful moments.
Compensation: $10.00 - $16.00 per hour

U.S. Equal Opportunity Employment Information (Completion is voluntary)

We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.

You are being given the opportunity to provide the following information in order to help us comply with federal and state Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action record keeping, reporting, and other legal requirements.

Completion of the form is entirely voluntary. Whatever your decision, it will not be considered in the hiring process or thereafter. Any information that you do provide will be recorded and maintained in a confidential file.

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 4/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
