About the Role:
We are looking for a motivated and tech-savvy Help Desk Technician to join our team in Florham Park, NJ! In this role, you'll be the first line of support for end users, solving technical challenges and keeping operations running smoothly. Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level technical support to end users via phone, email, and in-person
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
- Log, track, and manage support tickets through a help desk ticketing system
- Escalate complex technical issues to appropriate IT teams as needed
- Set up, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, and peripheral equipment
- Assist with user account management including password resets and access permissions
- Document solutions and contribute to the internal knowledge base
Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience in a help desk, IT support, or technical support role
- Proficiency with Windows OS and Microsoft Office 365
- Familiarity with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, Zendesk, or similar
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple support requests simultaneously
- CompTIA A+ or similar certification is a plus
