About the Role:
Niftylift Inc is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Parts Department / Product Support Associate to join our team in Greer, SC! In this role, you'll be the go-to resource for customers seeking parts and product support, handling inbound orders and inquiries by phone and email with professionalism and expertise. Work Environment
Primarily an office-based, desk position
Majority of customer interaction is conducted by phone and email
Regular use of computer systems for order entry, parts lookup, and customer communication
Limited physical labor required
Monday-Friday schedule with no weekend work
Responsibilities:
Answer inbound customer phone calls and emails regarding parts availability, pricing, and order status
Accurately enter and process customer parts orders using company software systems
Assist customers in identifying the correct replacement parts using parts manuals, diagrams, and electronic catalogs
Provide basic product support and technical guidance related to parts and equipment
Maintain accurate customer records, order information, and communication notes
Coordinate with warehouse and shipping personnel to ensure timely order fulfillment
Follow up with customers regarding backorders, shipment updates, and special-order items
Monitor and respond to email inquiries throughout the day
Assist walk-in customers on an occasional basis
Requirements:
Previous customer service, inside sales, order entry, call center, or parts department experience preferred
Comfortable spending the majority of the workday on the phone, responding to emails, and working on a computer
Strong keyboarding, data entry, and computer skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to multitask while handling customer calls, emails, and order processing
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy
Ability to learn technical product information and parts identification procedures
Experience with ERP, inventory management, or order processing software is a plus
Mechanical aptitude or familiarity with aerial lifts, construction equipment, automotive parts, or industrial equipment is beneficial but not required
