About the Role:
Cuts Steakhouse is looking for a skilled Broiler Chef / Line Cook to join our kitchen team in Atlanta, GA. Responsibilities:
- Operate and manage the broiler station during high-volume service periods
- Prepare and cook proteins, vegetables, and other menu items to recipe specifications
- Maintain proper food temperatures, cook times, and plating standards
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth, timely ticket execution
- Monitor and rotate stock, ensuring freshness and minimizing waste
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation in compliance with health codes
- Assist with prep work, mise en place, and end-of-shift breakdown and cleaning
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a line cook, broiler cook, or in a similar kitchen role preferred
- Solid understanding of broiling techniques, temperature control, and protein cookery
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen environment
- Strong knife skills and general culinary knowledge
- Food Handler's Certification or ServSafe certification a plus
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player with a positive attitude
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
