About PRIMETONE

PRIMETONE is a growing facilities services company providing janitorial services, unit turns, capital projects, and property support services to multifamily and commercial clients.

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a highly organized, dependable, and proactive Operations Manager – Office & Business Operations to lead the day-to-day operations of our corporate office and ensure that priorities, deadlines, and internal processes are consistently executed.

This is a hands-on management position for someone who takes ownership, follows through, communicates clearly, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

The Role

The Operations Manager will work directly with the Founder & CEO and serve as a central point of accountability for the company’s day-to-day office operations.

This person will ensure that assignments move forward, departments communicate effectively, deadlines are met, information is properly tracked, and the CEO has clear visibility into outstanding priorities.

This is not a remote position. Consistent attendance, punctuality, reliability, and professional leadership are essential to the role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily operations and workflow of the corporate office.
  • Establish structure, accountability, and follow-through across administrative operations.
  • Track company priorities, deadlines, outstanding items, and assigned responsibilities.
  • Follow up with team members to ensure commitments and deadlines are completed.
  • Prepare and maintain weekly operational action lists and status reports.
  • Coordinate internal meetings and ensure action items are documented and followed through to completion.
  • Support the CEO with operational reporting, scheduling, priorities, and company initiatives.
  • Coordinate communication between office operations and field leadership.
  • Ensure client-related issues and internal operational matters are routed to the appropriate team member and resolved promptly.
  • Maintain organized company records, trackers, documentation, and operating procedures.
  • Assist with employee scheduling, attendance documentation, payroll-related information, and administrative coordination.
  • Coordinate onboarding documentation and internal setup for new employees in partnership with the appropriate team members.
  • Monitor internal systems and workflows and recommend improvements where necessary.
  • Help develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Ensure management has accurate and timely information needed to make decisions.
  • Identify issues before they become larger problems and escalate matters appropriately.
  • Promote a professional, accountable, organized, and solutions-oriented office environment.
Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in operations management, office management, business operations, executive operations, or a similar leadership role.
  • Prior experience managing employees and holding teams accountable for deadlines and performance.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong follow-through and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working directly with senior leadership and handling confidential information.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, Teams, and business management systems.
  • Experience creating processes, trackers, SOPs, and operational reports.
  • Experience within facilities management, property management, construction, janitorial services, hospitality, or another service-based business is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with ADP or similar workforce-management systems is a plus.
  • Spanish is a plus, but not required.
The Ideal Candidate

The right person for this role is someone who:

  • Arrives prepared, on time, and ready to lead.
  • Does not need constant follow-up to complete assignments.
  • Takes ownership instead of waiting to be told what to do next.
  • Can respectfully hold others accountable.
  • Communicates problems early rather than allowing them to sit unresolved.
  • Is organized enough to manage many moving pieces without losing track of details.
  • Understands the difference between being busy and producing results.
  • Can work closely with an entrepreneurial CEO in a growing company.
  • Brings solutions—not simply problems—to leadership.
  • Wants an opportunity to grow as the organization expands.
Compensation

$65,000–$70,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday.

This is an on-site position in Bayonne, New Jersey. Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of the position.
